Jason Branch, MSW, LCSW
Founding Director & Lead Clinician
Jason Branch, MSW, LCSWA, is a licensed clinical social worker, educator, and founder of Cape Fear Counseling. Guided by the belief that every story deserves a new chapter, Jason brings a warm, human-centered approach to therapy—creating a space rooted in safety, connection, and compassion.
He works with adolescents, adults, and families, honoring each client’s lived experience while supporting their growth and healing. Jason also serves as an adjunct professor at UNC Pembroke, mentoring future social workers with the same dedication he brings to his practice.
Above all, he believes therapy should be simple, accessible, and empowering—because everyone deserves the chance to rewrite their story.

Jason Branch Jr., MSW, LCSWA, is a compassionate social work professional with a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2025. Guided by empathy, equity, and a deep commitment to advocacy, Jason takes a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to care.
He is passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and underserved communities through meaningful, empowering therapeutic relationships that foster healing, resilience, and lasting change.
